Aico Platform

Routines are essential for the success of your company. Your organization can’t function without them, but they eat up a huge amount of time and expertise that could be used in other value-adding activities.

Aico is a modular platform that offers tools that automate your processes to achieve substantial improvements to cost-efficiency and quality. Aico unlocks your business potential as it helps your specialists spend more time serving their external and internal clients. The first Aico solution area is financial automation. In the future, there will be more tools for automating other processes.

The Aico platform combines systems management, critical support services and shared system components, for versatile functionality. There are eight main components:

1. Integrations

Integrations is a service interface with which Aico communicates with external systems. Integration with ERP is bidirectional by default. Aico reads data from the enterprise resource planning system or other similar external sources when a voucher or document is created, validates and transfers the data there when entries are made, and retrieves data after entry to ensure the data quality.

Aico can be integrated with several ERP simultaneously and Aico platform easily integrates to SAP, Oracle eBS, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Nav, IFS, Visma Business and many others with powerful native real-time connectivity.

Aico supports inbound and outbound integrations to basically any system or data source by its API model and it can consume external services to validate and complement data. These external services can for example validate code combinations, check periods, increase the level of details on the authorization based on your business and process needs. Currently Aico is integrated with more than 20 different systems.

2. System Manager

Aico gives you control. Our system manager is highly versatile. You can do things that would normally require consultation with a service vendor, such as creating new forms, managing existing ones, changing system parameters, and changing your organizational model and user roles.

3. Authentication

There is no need to separately log into any Aico solution. The user is identified with an Active Directory account when logging into their computer. Aico can also be connected to an external IDM solution.

4. Authorisation

We use a flexible, role-based authorisation model that can be connected to an external system if required. You can assign access rights to each function separately, down to company, unit or form level. Approval rights can be set on three levels and you can specify, for example, monetary limits.

5. Workflow

Workflow helps you specify tools for each function, for example, who creates the document, what kind of approval it needs, and when and by whom it will be transferred to your ERP.

6. Audit trail

All functionalities have an audit log that records who made changes and when. You can choose to always require an attachment or comment for specific items. The approval workflow is also logged.

7. Archiving

All vouchers, attachments and audit logs created by Aico are saved in a format that makes it easy to transfer them to a permanent archive.


BI API is service component that expose’s Aico data for BI and reporting tools in a controlled and easy manner. It can also server process mining tools. The BI API interprets Aico’s internal data model to a readable format and support’s time-series presentation. It makes the BI connectivity easy.
